After a highly successful inaugural competition in 2019, which encouraged an inspiring range of photographic entries, the ‘Cover Star‘ initiative returned for 2020. We invited fabricator partners to submit high-quality original photography showing the best, most innovative and creative use of Corian® Solid Surface in either a residential, commercial or public setting. Skilful fabrication, clever design and thoughtful use of colour are highly encouraged.

And the winners of the 2020 Cover Star Competition are:

Atelier Joinery Ltd. fabricated the stunning bar for 24 Mayfair, Colony Club Casino, London in June 2019 using the reverse face of Corian® Arrowroot. Not only is it visually striking, it also demonstrates the seamless properties of Corian® Solid Surface. The interior design was carried out by Dakota House of Design Ltd., Newcastle and the main contractor for the project was GF Holding Contractors Ltd., Mottram St Andrew, Cheshire. Eric Wilson & Co Ltd. demonstrated a fantastic application for Corian® Solid Surface, a cladded lift shaft in the Cardigan Integrated Healthcare Centre. Fabricated in July 2019 this is a stand-out project using Corian® Carbon Aggregate, one of the latest colours added to the Corian® colour portfolio in 2019.
